My name is Ren, I mainly go by Kirenshi online. I have a BA International in Digital Media which covered photography, videography, editing, web design, social media and digital marketing. I have had a long time interest in photo and video, so this degree choice was driven by a passion and a need to create. 

I love nature and cityscape photography as well as candid portraiture. As for cosplay photography, I love catching those moments of people unaware over posed, making people laugh to find their relaxed and genuine smile, or calling them and snapping as they turn, to catch a natural flow of movement. Shooting in locations that suit the series or character is amazing but more than that I love to see the personality and traits of the cosplayers shine through, truly making their cosplay uniquely "them". 

I have been cosplaying and attending conventions in Ireland and abroad since 2008 and while living in Tokyo, Japan, decided to get more serious about photography, from roaming nature and the snapping skyline to attending events, shooting on location and even in cosplay photo studios. I hope to gain more experience in posed portraiture by joining CPAI and to learn more about the edits I already love to play around with!
